Call for papers
Papers are invited for the NAPS 2008 Conference to be held at the University of Calgary, Calgary, Canada, from September 28 – September 30, 2008. Papers are due by June 30, 2008, and authors will be notified of acceptance by August 1, 2008.
Papers are invited in all areas of Electric Power and Energy Systems. Papers must conform to the IEEE-PES Conference Proceedings format. Information about this format, as well as LaTeX and Microsoft Word templates, may be obtained from the PES Author's Kit, and please notice that papers must be no more than 8 pages. Please submit papers in Portable Document Format (pdf). For your convenience, we have placed direct links to the templates on the Paper submission page. You can also find the links to MSWord and LaTex templates at the end of this page. Please make sure you have gone through the Paper submission page before you download the templates.
If a paper is accepted, at least one author of that paper must register for the conference and present the paper, otherwise the paper will be automatically withdrawn. While all accepted papers will appear in the Proceedings, only those papers that are presented will appear in IEEE Xplore.
Student Papers, i.e., papers that report research conducted by one or more graduate or undergraduate students, are eligible for the Student Paper Contest. The first author of such a paper must be currently enrolled as a graduate or undergraduate student in an institution of higher learning. If your paper should be considered as a Student Paper, please indicate it as such when uploading the paper.
